TGIF! - But where are all the indie kids?

Watch this to find out!

Have you guessed?

They're at
Home!

Home club is home (pun intended) to Singapore’s musicians, where the crowd from the underground scene come together to lose themselves to upbeat tunes from musical heroes old & new; Muse, New Order, The Cure, Blocparty, The Killers and lots more!

The perks of being a homegrown underground club? Themed nights! Pop by the secluded hideout off 20 Upper Circular Road on a Friday night and be treated with your favorite Indie hits!

BEAT! is hosted by resident DJs Ginette Chittick, George Chua and Joe Ng who take turns to spin tunes and bring to you an eclectic mix of other space oddities. Now I feel putting on my dancing shoes and dance all night until the sun says hello!

Of course, if you happen to be one of 'em direction-clueless and fail to maneuver your way to the calling of thumping beats filling the night with a fusion of lyrical enticement and hypnotic raves, there’s one clue you will not fail to crack – the indie style!

Simply follow closely behind these eccentric-styled fashionistas and you will reach Home! It’s hard to miss them – loud prints paired with subtle leather jackets, accompanied by those undeniably classic Chuck Taylors. Oh plus the edgy, tousled hair!

Local independent musicians looking for a platform can look no further! Indeed, Home is the renowned and legendary birthplace of many successful local acts, some of whose success has carried them to international status!

Ain’t no indie night like Beat! (Plus, I've heard the beer's easy on the wallet, if that’s not enough for a great night out, I don’t know what is!)

This is a whole new world revealed to me. I never knew such a subculture existed. Nevertheless, it is interesting to see all the odd and curvy ends of this world.
